On poor customer service
April 29th, 2007 by bleu-blogSince last Thursday, we’ve been trying to open a new account for the
kids. All documents were complete. On Thursday, it was an hour waiting
to be attended (and no, it didn’t get to our turn after an hour). On
Friday, it was another 45 minutes, with the banker (customer service
representative?) disappeared most of the time, until they said they had
a problem.
Laptop battery goes bananas
April 28th, 2007 by bleu-blogMy Dell laptop battery is going bananas. I’m not sure what’s really
happened, but in the past three or four weeks, the battery life has
gone from nearly two hours to only 45 minutes, right after being fully
charged.
Smacking and best/worst place for children
April 21st, 2007 by bleu-blogThe irony of a recent UNICEF report is that the two, arguably, most

In my previous post,
I was curious whether countries that supply (low-skilled) foreign

is sometimes a big challenge. Some people even often skip lunch or have
theirs while working. Work-life balance is out of the equation.
Taking a nap? Forget it.

Where is Winona?
March 8th, 2007 by bleu-blogWinona Ryder, that is. Perhaps the most beautiful actress ever.
She
is still out there, acting. It has been much fewer and less popular
movies, however, after the shoplifting incident in 2001. After starring
in quite good movies, like Bram Stoker’s Dracula, Reality Bites and
Alien: Resurrection, the only big movie she did was Mr. Deeds in 2002.
In fact, she didn’t do any "movies" in 2005.

Kill the messenger!
March 4th, 2007 by bleu-blogNo one wants to deliver bad news. Particularly to the management. The urban legend is, they will kill the messenger.
That was the mission last Monday…
